Our Policy Regarding Abuse & Reporting It
To begin with, we will not tolerate any violators, abusers and people who just don’t play fair. We have created several ways to capture these situations and deal with them. Here’s how you can report abuse to us, so we can address it and keep Jabfab friendly and open for our community:
Please Report Any Kind of Abuse in these Categories and more if necessary
- Banned Adult Content
- Adware, SPAM etc.
- Child Porn / Exploiting
- Extreme Profanity
- Nudity
- Piracy / Software Theft
- Threats / Bullying
- Harassment
- Other TOS violations
Jabfab will assess all reports for true violations of our terms of service, and will take the necessary action.
Abusive comments you have seen on our “Comment Walls” that violate our Terms of Use:
You can report abuse of comments that you see on our topic pages directly in the page itself. We have provided a menu next to each main comment that enables you to report the abuse . Our Abuse reporting tool on the comment Wall will enable you to, describe what type of abuse it is, using the categories shown opposite.
Abusive behaviors, hate, bulling, illegal activity, hacking, SPAM etc. you see anywhere on the site.
You can email us at abuse@jabfab.com and please include as much information as possible within your email. The following information (if included) will help us to rapidly assess the situation and determine if this is actually a clear violation of our terms of service and then act to remove the threat:
- Username of the person you would like to report
- Date and time (and time zone in the world) when you witnessed the alleged violation
- A link to the page you were on when you witnessed the abuse
- An attached screenshot of the abusing item you witnessed
- Your email address for correspondence if not the same as in the email you are sending
- Why you believe this is a violation of our terms of service
Jabfab was made for users like you, and is almost completely made up of user generated content, from feelings, opinions, sentiments and so on. As with most things in life, there will always be people who abuse the system. So we have prepared a few important measures to ensure that our community can weed out these abusers and stop them from using the service, if they do not comply with our Terms of Use.
